AQUATICS CLASSES

Hancock Health Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of classes and support groups to help our community live well. While class schedules vary, the McCordsville facility commonly hosts the following:

  • Aqua Fit – held in the pool, this class improves cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength, and endurance without harming your joints.
  • Aqua Tabata – a High Intensity Interval Training class in the pool, all levels can benefit from this class.
  • Aqua Yoga – Stretch and move your body in our heated therapeutic pool.
  • Aqua Walks & Conditioning – a low-impact water walk with cardiovascular exercises.
  • Aqua Zumba – a low-impact, high-energy dance class with less impact on your joints.

MIND & BODY CLASSES

Hancock Health Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of classes and support groups to help our community live well. While class schedules vary, the McCordsville facility commonly hosts the following:

  • Chair Yoga – this seated class provides a base to feel comfortable as you improve your flexibility, circulation, and balance
  • Gentle Yoga – improve your balance and flexibility in this relaxing class
  • Iron Yoga – this class combines yoga poses with dumbbells for strength training
  • Mat Pilates – increase core strength and improve mind-body awareness in this class
  • Yoga – learn basic yoga poses, effective stretching, and breathing techniques
  • Wake Up Yoga – slow-flow morning yoga to wake your body up

STRENGTH & CARDIO CLASSES

Hancock Health Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of classes and support groups to help our community live well. While class schedules vary, the McCordsville facility commonly hosts the following:

  • Barre sculpt – define your physique with this low-impact barre workout that blends pilates, ballet, and functional strength training
  • Barre Tone & Stretch – this class combines a core workout with ballet and lengthening stretches 
  • Beginner Cycling – recommended for those who are new to cycling, this is a 30-minute ride to develop a series of skill sets
  • Cycling – ride in high gear with this stationary bike class
  • Endure the Burn Cycling – 45-minutes of high-intensity cycling for endurance and strength
  • Rise & Ride Cycling – high-intensity and endurance cycling 
  • Buns & Guns – use bands and dumbbells to sculpt and strengthen the upper and lower body
  • Cardio, Kick & Shred – enjoy a basic kickboxing class in a cardio interval-style workout 
  • Cardio Kickboxing – punch, kick, and block in this fun class appropriate for all fitness levels
  • Cardio Sculpt – a total body workout that includes cardio and strength movements
  • Senior Cardio Sculpt – consists of low-impact intervals followed by periods of rest to improve heart health, improve joints, and tone muscles 
  • HIIT 2B Fit – use dumbbells, step blocks, and resistance bands for this complete cardio workout
  • Senior Strength – strength-centered class for senior adults to encourage muscle growth for any fitness level
  • Step Blast – combines step aerobics with short bursts of strength training
  • STRONG Nation – combines body weight training, muscle conditioning, amd cardio synced to music
  • STRONG Nation Skills – walks you through the individual movements used in the STRONG Nation class
  • Zumba – a high-energy aerobics dance class that incorporates Latin music with fitness
  • Zumba Gold – Zumba class perfect for beginnings and/or seniors

Whether you are a group fitness regular or a first-timer, our group classes are sure to include an option (or two) that’s perfect for you, including strength, cardio, mind/body, flexibility, aquatics, senior and more. Safe@Home is an introduction to safety skills and first aid necessary to prepare students for the responsibility of staying safe when unsupervised. This is a ninety minute class suitable for students in grades 4-6 to prepare them for being safe when home alone. However, Safe@Home does not include instruction on rescue skills, child care skills, or business skills.
