Thank You, From Our Board of Trustees
In case you missed it, the Hancock Health Board of Trustees made a video thanking us for all of our hard work over the past couple of years. It’s great support to have while we’re working so hard to make health possible for everyone in East Central Indiana. Watch it here!
Making Health Possible
Christmas celebrations are in full swing, so there’s a good chance you’re making lots of lists and checking them at least twice. All that merriment and family time is definitely good for your mental health, but it can come with some unhealthy stressors, too. Then there’s the calorie-heavy holiday treats—moderation is key. But don’t get your tinsel in a twist! Check out our health and lifestyle website, HealthPossible.org, for some practical holiday advice.

Hancock Regional Named #1 in Indiana for Patient Safety by Lown Institute
Congratulations to us all—again! Hancock Regional Hospital has been recognized as the safest hospital in Indiana and the 13th-safest across the entire United States, according to the second-annual Lown Institute Hospital Index, a program that measures the social responsibility of hospitals throughout the nation. This honor comes on top of another recent rating as one of the safest hospitals in America by The Leapfrog Group, a national health care watchdog organization. That kind of recognition isn’t easy to get, and it’s more evidence that we really are making health possible for all our patients!
Hank’s Dad Joke of the Week
Q: Why was Santa’s little helper feeling depressed?
A: Because he has low elf-esteem.
