AQUATICS CLASSES

Hancock Health Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of classes and support groups to help our community live well. While class schedules vary, the New Palestine facility commonly hosts the following:

  • Aqua Fit – A total body workout that takes place in the pool, so you don’t put pressure on your joints. 
  • Aqua Core & Weights – Put your torso to the test with this workout, followed by a weight routine to get your heart rate up.
  • Aqua Yoga – Overall body toning focusing on abdominals, back, arms and hips.
  • Aqua Tabata – High Intensity Interval Training in the water. All levels can benefit from this class.
  • Aquatic Stretch – Incorporates the soothing warmth of a heated pool to relieve pain, increase joint flexibility, and improve your range of motion. 
  • Hydro Sculpt – Enables just about anyone to work out in the water regardless of fitness level, as each individual works at a level that suits their body on each of the stations.

MIND & BODY CLASSES

Hancock Health Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of classes and support groups to help our community live well. While class schedules vary, the New Palestine facility commonly hosts the following:

  • Decompress – a series of stretches with a focus on breathing and balancing. 
  • Slow Flow Yoga – Class is designed to learn the basic Yoga poses, effective stretching, breathing techniques, and the art of relaxation.
  • Yoga – learn basic poses, effective stretching, breathing techniques, and the art of relaxation.

STRENGTH & CARDIO CLASSES

Hancock Health Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of classes and support groups to help our community live well. While class schedules vary, the New Palestine facility commonly hosts the following:

  • Barbell Blast – a high-energy class with sculpting intervals and hard core abdominal training.
  • Barre Strength – A barre and strength fusion class that incorporates small and large muscle group training with a focus on proper alignment. This dynamic class welcomes all fitness levels.
  • Body Sculpt – Use weights, bands, and medicine balls to tone muscles and increase strength.
  • Body Burn 45 – A low-impact, full body class using weights, bands, and gliders. Any fitness level is welcome.
  • Boxing – Combines boxing and weighted exercises.
  • Cardio Kick – A strength interval class with high intensity. 
  • Cardio Power – A High Intensity Interval Training style workout that is guaranteed to get your heart rate up.
  • Core Blast 30 – A quick strengthening and conditioning of the core muscles for improved stability and balance.
  • Cycling – Ride into high gear with this stationary bike class. Instructors will show you various intensity options.
  • Dance Fitness – Infuses cardio with dance moves to a plethora of music styles.
  • ​​Forever Fit – A strength class incorporating bands and balls for the upper and lower body. 
  • Guts & Glutes – A cardio workout focused on abdominal and glute muscles.
  • H.I.I.T. 2B Fit – A form of interval training, a cardio class with alternating intense anaerobic exercise and recovery periods. 
  • Matwork– This class involves a series of classical Pilates exercises to emphasize breath, condition your core, and improve body awareness.
  • Muscle Max – This class will familiarize you with barbells, dumbbells, free weights, and the weight room.
  • Pilates – Learn how to strengthen and tone your chest, back, abdominals, hips and thighs.
  • PiYo – Yoga and Pilates are combined to build strength, flexibility, and muscle.
  • Power Pump – This class incorporates sculpting intervals followed by hard core abdominal training.
  • Solid Strength – Use weights, bands, and medicine balls to strengthen muscles. 
  • Step Blast – Traditional step moves reinvented into challenging combinations designed to challenge your feet, legs, and mind.
  • Step Jam – A high energy fusion step class for all fitness levels with an emphasis on cardio endurance and strength.
  • Strength Cycle – A quick class combining advanced cycling and strength training.
  • Tabata – High Intensity Interval Training for both a cardio and strength workout.
  • Tread 30 Walk – A class that will get your heartrate up through walking. No running included. 
  • Treadmill Pump – High Intensity Interval Training alternating between the treadmill and strength training.
  • Zumba Gold – Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class.

Whether you are a group fitness regular or a first-timer, our group classes are sure to include an option (or two) that’s perfect for you, including strength, cardio, mind/body, flexibility, aquatics, senior and more. Safe @Home
Hancock Wellness New Palestine  4055 S. Roy Wilson Way, New Palestine, IN

Safe@Home is an introduction to safety skills and first aid necessary to prepare students for the responsibility of staying safe when unsupervised. This is a ninety minute class suitable for students in grades 4-6 to prepare them for being safe when home alone. However, Safe@Home does not include instruction on rescue skills, child care skills, or business skills.
