A more connected, comprehensive approach to making health possible for Hancock County residents is the focus of the reimagined Hancock Health Connection Center, located at 120 W. McKenzie Rd., Suite G, in Greenfield.
Formerly known as Healthy365, the Connection Center provides streamlined crucial services including referrals for community resources to meet social needs and prevention/intervention services related to behavioral health needs. A team of support navigators and System of Care outreach programs offer many services including QPR suicide prevention training, ACE Interface training, treatment for tobacco cessation, peer recovery services, CRAFT support groups, and more.
Other services previously offered through Healthy365 — including many Hancock Health classes, support groups, participation in the Indiana Healthy Communities Initiative, and other initiatives such as Hancock Flat 50 — now fall under the scope of Hancock Well-Being.
“We are excited for this new chapter of our journey,” said Amanda Everidge, executive director, Hancock Health Behavioral Health Service Line and Hancock County CISM Coordinator. “Meeting the behavioral health and social needs of our community is a priority of Hancock Health, and by partnering with Hancock Well-Being, the Connection Center is able to have a dedicated focus on supporting individuals with services to meet their behavioral health and social emotional needs. We remain committed to the whole health of individuals and look forward to continuing to make connections, reduce barriers and improve the health status of our community.
“We are extremely proud of the community collaboration that brought Healthy365 to life,” said Everidge. “Our partners have always been a critical part of our development and success and will continue to be into the future for both the Hancock Health Connection Center and Hancock Well-Being.”
