We Are Grateful for YOU East Central Indiana

It’s the month of giving thanks, expressing gratitude, and telling those you love just why you care about them. We think it is a beautiful time to express our own gratitude for the growing community of providers and patients who help to make East Central Indiana a healthier, happier place to live, work and play!  

Our home in Hancock County lands us right in between bustling Indianapolis and the beautiful Hoosier farmlands. East Central Indiana is not only a gorgeous place to be (especially with those changing leaves), but it is also home to a special community that cares about its people and wellness. Hancock Health has been dedicated to making health possible in this community, and we couldn’t do it without the support of residents as well as our own staff. Together, we are working to help those living in East Central Indiana have easier access to healthcare and wellness opportunities. 

Here are our favorite reasons to be grateful for this bustling community just east of Indianapolis: 

1. Support for local businesses 

We haven’t seen so much support for the #shoplocal movement anywhere else in the Midwest. East Central Indiana is unique because of the number of local businesses as well as a community that puts its heart into supporting its entrepreneurs.  

2. A love for wellness 

Whether you are a member of the Hancock Wellness Centers or you have enjoyed participating in one of the many opportunities to be active here in Hancock County, we are grateful for your motivation and accomplishments. Without the hard work of patients, our providers wouldn’t be able to give effective treatments. 

3. A love of giving back 

Our community nestled just east of Indianapolis is full of heart and hope. Supporting local causes is important to our residents and it shows with the success of the Hancock Health Foundation, Women Helping Women and more. Thank you for all that you do to give back and support local organizations in making our community a better place! 

4. Support for the arts 

We are so grateful to be settled within a community that supports and elevates the arts. From the Riley Festival to Hancock County Arts exhibits and classes, there are a plethora of opportunities for anyone interested in appreciating culture and finding their own creative spark. Seeing the results of our residents’ creativity only adds to the beauty and gratitude. 

We can’t say it enough, East Central Indiana, but thank you for being YOU! This month, we will be sending our gratitude to all the residents here to work to create the vibrant, bustling and beautiful community we have come to know and love!
