April 30, 2020

You’ve heard that April showers bring May flowers—but a month of social distancing has also brought more than a little bit of cabin fever for most of us. So welcome to Hancock Health’s Stay Healthy challenges for May, where we’re encouraging you to breathe a little easier, while you keep following the guidelines to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Has there ever been a better time to work on staying healthy? This month, we’re offering four more challenges custom-made to help you keep the good health you have. Click the link to download your printable Stay Healthy Calendar for May, or get the interactive PDF version.

(Want to start at the beginning? You can get previous months’ calendars in our Calendar Archive [anchor link] below.)

And since we probably haven’t seen you out in the world for a while, there’s never been a better time to share what you’re up to. Post a picture or video of your Stay Health experience on your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account with the hashtag #HancockHealthChallenge, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $250 Woodhouse Day Spa gift certificate.

Don’t let up! Stay healthy out there!

Week 1: Walk and meditate.

Sitting in the lotus position and repeating  a secret mantra is far from the only way to meditate. Sometimes, just taking a walk can be a great way to calm and focus your mind.

Week 2: Plant your garden.

Last month, we focused on getting your garden ready to plant. This month, it’s time to get those seeds in the ground and growing up right!

Week 3: Air it out.

Chances are good you’ve been spending a lot more time at home recently. So now’s a good time to open it up and get some fresh air flowing.

Week 4: Eat your veggies.

All kinds of delicious vegetables pop up in the spring. That means you have all kinds of delicious choices for spring meals and snacks.
