Resolution #1: Address Health Issues as Soon as You Have Them
It’s tempting to save up all your health issues until it’s time for your yearly checkup. While you should keep a list of questions and problems to discuss during regular office visits, putting off small issues can sometimes be less than ideal.
Even minor issues—discomfort, aches, and uncertainty—may increase your stress, cost you sleep, and make you less healthy overall. Come into Gateway Immediate Care and check with one of our providers about what’s bothering you. We can provide care, find treatment, and help you understand when you need to make an appointment with your regular physician. And you can visit our homepage to check wait times and save your spot in line.
Resolution #2: Get Those Tests or Scans That You Really Need
If your primary care provider or a specialist recommends a lab test, X-ray, or other scan to diagnose a possible health issue or find the right treatment, don’t put it off. We know those can seem expensive, which is why Gateway offers the areas lowest price on 95% of the labs and imaging available at our facility (and that’s a lot).
We’ll save you money on just about any blood test you can imagine, as well as X-rays, MRIs, CTs, and ultrasounds. Just ask your provider to refer your tests to Gateway Lab or Gateway Imaging.
Resolution #3: Be More Relaxed About Health Care
We’ve already mentioned Gateway’s patient-friendly feel, but we’ve designed Gateway to remove a few more healthcare headaches from the experience.
When you come to Gateway, you can check in with one of our friendly associates, or just check yourself in at a kiosk if you already know your way around. Enjoy a coffee on us while you wait, and easily keep track of your estimated wait time on one of our big screens (don’t worry; it’s confidential). If you’re worried about cost, you can compare our prices online or ask for an up-front estimate.
After you’ve been treated and gone on your way, Gateway keeps on making things easy with a single global bill for all services. You don’t have to worry about getting a separate bill for every service or provider.
Resolution #4: Try New Things
