Bloom in Motherhood

January 27, 2020
Over the past four years, Bloom has provided moms of all stages of life time to socialize, be pampered, and talk through the joys and struggles of raising kids. We’re continuing the tradition April 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. when you can shop with your friends, build your community, hear from inspiring women, and get a swag bag with tons of goodies!

Moms don’t take days off. Or sick days. Or leave work early. Being a mother is a full-time job, and sometimes, it’s thankless. Many moms feel guilty taking time away from their kids but stepping away from the house for an afternoon is a perfect opportunity to focus on yourself. Resting and recharging is self-care, and it will help you be a better mom when you return home.

Bloom is for every mama, no matter what stage she’s in. Whether you just had a baby, are expecting, your kids are grown or you are a grandma, this day is for you! Our panelists cover different perspectives of motherhood, since everyone has their own journey. Last year, Lisa Busker from Hancock Women+Children led a maternity discussion, and influential Indianapolis moms shared their personal experiences growing their families.

This year, Bloom is adding more fun elements to the event. Grab a friend and head over to Indy Snapshot for pictures that will be texted or emailed so you can share them on social. Celebrate being kid-free and sip a mimosa from the $5 Mimosa Bar to keep the party going! Unwind by visiting the dozens of vendors, selling everything from clothing to soap. If none of that excites you, this will: Bloom is held at the gorgeous Balmoral House in Fishers.

Bloom is hosted by Indianapolis Moms Blog, an online resource for parents to find activities and explore Indianapolis with their families. Since Indianapolis Moms Blog is connected to a larger national network, last year 50 cities across the country hosted Bloom events. Each city has their own personalized and customized experience, but every event celebrates moms in all stages of life.

Prioritize yourself this April. Make time in your hectic schedule to attend Bloom and leave feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to tackle all of the challenges motherhood throws at you. For more details about the event, check out the event page.
