Hancock Health – Women Helping Women
Hancock Learning Center
Helps adults earn their Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma and progress in their career.
Head Start – Greenfield
Provides comprehensive child development services primarily to income eligible children ages 3-5. Program provides educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to children and their families. Head Start also serves children with disabilities.
Healthy Families Hancock County
Supports new parents through financial management education, parenting programs, and connections to other community services.
House of Kids, Inc.
Accepts children ages six weeks to 12 years. Transportation provided to Greenfield schools and Mt. Comfort Elementary. The staff is SCP certified and most teachers are CDA certified. Preschool and gymnastics offered along with summer swimming classes. Level 3 Paths to Quality certification.
Huffer Memorial Children’s Center
Serving 10 counties, including Hancock. Helps locate licensed childcare facilities, family childcare providers, registered ministries, preschool opportunities and parent information programs. Also provides consumer education information and brochures on choosing quality childcare, developmentally appropriate practices and child growth and development.
Indiana Right to Life
Provides educational materials and resources for students, teachers or other interested parties. Helps women with unplanned pregnancies.
Indiana School for the Deaf
Provides educational services for deaf and hard of hearing youth, grades K-12. A nursery school/preschool program for children from 18 months to five years is also available.
Indiana State Information Center
Answers questions relating to all aspects of state government and can help make referrals to the appropriate state agency.
Interlocal Community Action Program (ICAP)
Provides financial assistance with rent, utility bills, and child care.
