Provides comprehensive child development services primarily to income eligible children ages 3-5. Program provides educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to children and their families. Head Start also serves children with disabilities.

Supports new parents through financial management education, parenting programs, and connections to other community services.

House of Kids, Inc.

Accepts children ages six weeks to 12 years. Transportation provided to Greenfield schools and Mt. Comfort Elementary. The staff is SCP certified and most teachers are CDA certified. Preschool and gymnastics offered along with summer swimming classes. Level 3 Paths to Quality certification.

Huffer Memorial Children’s Center

Serving 10 counties, including Hancock. Helps locate licensed childcare facilities, family childcare providers, registered ministries, preschool opportunities and parent information programs. Also provides consumer education information and brochures on choosing quality childcare, developmentally appropriate practices and child growth and development.
