Roasted green beans

Serves 4

Tip: For more-tender beans, blanch them in hot water for about 30 seconds before tossing with tomatoes and herbs.

  1. Add 2 cups green beans.
  2. Add 1 cup cherry tomatoes.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon minced garlic.
  4. Add 2 teaspoons olive oil.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon dried basil and 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon onion powder.
  7. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  8. Add 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  9. Stir until evenly coated.
  10. Roast 10 to 15 minutes at 400 F.
