Volunteering also enables you to meet new people in the community and build skills for your career growth. 

To volunteer with Hancock Health, you need to be at least 15 years of age and commit to a minimum of two shifts per month for at least six months.

There are a variety of ways to get involved at Hancock Health. These are just a few of the volunteer opportunities we offer.

Information Desk Volunteers

Serve as receptionists in the main hospital lobby, help direct visitors to specific areas, answer general questions and dispatch transporters throughout the facilities.

Surgery Waiting Reception Volunteers

Serve as liaisons between surgery, recovery, and families waiting for surgical patients.

Same Day Surgery Volunteers

Assist in prep and recovery rooms to keep patients comfortable and provide supplies to keep rooms clean.
