Give Yourself Some Love
Q: You know what’s tougher than being the Director of Fun when everyone is dealing with the crazy stress of a pandemic that’s gone for 17 months and counting?
A: Being one of those people who’s dealing with that crazy stress every day. Just when we thought we had COVID-19 on the run, it’s back with a vengeance—and it can be difficult to care for others when we’re dealing with so much hurt ourselves.
That’s why I’m urging everyone to sign up for the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program in Net Learning. The program is run by our very own certified CISM team, and it’s focused on helping you find the peace and courage you need to get through this incredibly tough time. Sign up today and choose the session that works best for you:
- Thursday, August 26 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, August 30 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 1 from 9 – 11 a.m.
Do it for your patients. Do it for your family and friends. But most of all, do it for yourself. The pandemic isn’t over. But it’s time to give yourself some of the love you’ve offered so unselfishly to our entire community.
Hank’s Dad Joke of the Week
