That’s why we focus on the little things, including having our nurses meet parents and children in the parking lot to help them get from their car to the exam room. Education is also a big part of the care at Hancock Pediatrics. Our nurses take extra time with each family to sit down and explain their children’s treatment in detail. Listening is also critical. We take each parent’s concerns into consideration, so they can feel comfortable and confident in the healthcare decisions they make for their child.
While kids may shudder at the thought of a shot, we know staying on top of vaccinations and immunizations is one of the most important things we do at Hancock Pediatrics. Regular immunizations are a critical way to protect the next generation for the future and stop all preventable illnesses before they start.
Hancock Pediatrics also works hand-in-hand with OB/GYNs and the hospital nursery from the moment each new infant arrives at the hospital. Our team of nurses collaborates with Healthy365 staff to ensure each baby has what they need to start life strong and healthy.
