The answer is, you’re supposed to get the care you need. COVID-19 doesn’t make other healthcare needs disappear.
So who do you call when you need care? The answer is as easy as 1-2-3-4:
- If you have a life-threatening or serious emergency, call 911 or get to the Hancock Regional Hospital emergency room. Don’t delay. We’ve taken extraordinary precautions to keep patients safe from COVID-19 throughout the hospital, including and especially our emergency department.
- If you have COVID-19 symptoms or you’re concerned you’ve contracted the virus, call the Hancock Coronavirus Hotline, 317-325-COVD (2683).
- If you need routine care, call your Hancock primary care physician. You’ll find contact information at org/find-a-doctor. We’re scheduling virtual and in-person visits right now.
- If you don’t have a Hancock doctor or need specialized care, call the Hancock Welcome Line at (317)-468-4600.
The bottom line is, your health is still important, and making health possible for you right now is just one phone call away. Take care and give us a call!
