Coronavirus Update: March 25, 2020

March 25, 2020
We had our monthly Board of Trustees meeting this evening and I wanted to pass along the thanks of the entire board for the phenomenal job you have been doing! They stand in awe of the amazing resilience, creativity, and love exhibited by our entire Hancock Health family. Hard to believe, but they are even more impressed by you than I am (and I am super-impressed)!

As a reminder, the journey that we are on as a community is a marathon, not a sprint, and it is only through the individual efforts of the people of Hancock County that we will win in the end.

We are confident in the ability of our community to get through this, but we also realize that we will need to set the tone with our own actions.  Please urge your family, friends, and neighbors to honor the “stay at home” order from the Governor and give them a shining example to follow in using common sense techniques like hand washing, covering our cough (easiest when wearing a mask), cleaning surfaces people touch, and generally maintaining distance from others when possible. We work in healthcare, and are the most susceptible, and everyone else needs us to stay healthy.

All the Best,
Steve
