Dear Journal,

I was told that next week is a special occasion… Nurses Week!! I was so excited to say hi to all of the nurses working today. Juan and I handed out a thank you card to the nursing units to tell them how much we appreciate them.

I even signed it myself. They seemed to love it!The Marketing Department even wanted me in their “thank you” video that they are going to show at the Nurses Week celebration! I must be pretty popular around here.

We made our usual rounds around the hospital and stopped by the Andis Unit. They wanted to take a photo with me for Nurses Week. We then made our way to Hospice and met the nicest lady. She wanted to take a photo with me to send to her family! She was so happy to see me. I didn’t take the best photo with her because a beeping noise spooked me. I’m not sure what it was, but I didn’t like it one bit!!!!

After the scare, I decided that I needed to take a quick break.

I tried to power through it but I just couldn’t stop thinking about that NOISE. It was taunting me!

Juan decided that we should probably cut our visit short since I wasn’t as social as I usually am, but we can never leave without saying hi to the volunteers… it’s our tradition!Although it was a short visit, I still have a great time seeing all of my friends or soon to be friends. I’m so glad that I’m able to help people feel better, even for just a second.

Keep up with my adventures and see what I’m up to around the hospital! Hopefully, I’ll get to meet even more people next time that I visit. I sure hope so.
