描述: This test is not intended to be diagnostic for infectious disease. Positive results may be found in patients that have not been immunized. In these cases, the patient has a positive serological status to the infectious agent through natural exposure. False positive results may occur. Repeat testing or testing with a different device may be indicated in some settings, e.g., patients with low likelihood of prior infection or vaccination.
