Turn to Hancock Health’s Caregiver Support Group for help
Caregivers have an extraordinary responsibility that goes far beyond every day tasks. You may wonder when you will have time to get everything done, between doctor’s visits, medication consultations, treatments, surgeries and ensuring your loved one is doing okay emotionally and mentally. It can strain relationships and add stress into an already full life for many people.
Having a safe space to talk about your experience and get advice from those who are navigating the same phase of life is an invaluable resource. Hancock Health’s Caregiver Support Group is here to be that space, offering both education and camaraderie. This group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 2:00pm-3:00pm in the Resource Lounge of the Cancer Center on the first floor.
Regardless of your loved one’s diagnosis, you will find help and support offered freely at this group. No registration is required in order to attend.
At Hancock Health, we do things differently, especially when it comes to supporting the family, friends and caregivers who are supporting our patients.
