You shouldn’t have to drive hundreds of miles to access crucial, life-saving care when you’re battling cancer. Fortunately, because Hancock Health is part of the Clinique Mayo Care Network, our providers are supported by the knowledge of Mayo Clinic specialists—which lets us give the people of East Central Indiana the world-class cancer treatment they need, right here at home.

We also have a wide array of screenings and testing available using advanced technology, so we can catch cancer earlier and improve patient outcomes.
- Pap Smear: A swab of cells from the cervix to detect cervical cancer.
- Skin Check: A visual examination of your skin to find any unusual spots or moles that might be signs of skin cancer.
We also offer testing to see if you have any mutations in your genes that could increase your risk of developing common cancers, including colorectal, pancreatic, prostate, ovarian, uterine, stomach, and breast cancer. This type of genetic testing is done through a blood or saliva sample. It typically takes about three weeks after the sample is collected for results to be shared with your Hancock Health provider. But treating cancer is only part of the battle. We also have extensive support services such as groupes de soutien, art therapy and other relaxing post-chemotherapy classes, conseils nutritionnels, a cancer clothing boutique, et so much more. Cancer isn’t easy, but your journey to remission can be a little easier through the comprehensive support services at Hancock Health.
