放射線技師プログラム

私たちのプログラムを無事に完了すると、プログラムの卒業生には Ivy Tech を通じて応用科学準学士号が授与されます。

私たちのカリキュラムには教室と診療時間が含まれており、学生は安全かつ専門的な方法で画像診断手順を実行する方法を学びます。コースには以下が含まれます:

Articulation Agreements

Hancock Regional Hospital School of Radiologic Technology articulates with Ivy Tech Community College to award an AAS in Medical Imaging upon completion of the program, provided prerequisite courses were taken through Ivy Tech Community College.

In order to be considered for the program, you must have completed the following courses from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum course grade of “C” (1.6 on a 4.0 scale).

• Communication: 3 credit hours in English Composition AND Fundamentals of Public Speaking, OR Interpersonal Communication

A total of 22 credit hours in prerequisite courses are required by Ivy Tech in order to confer an Associate of Applied Science in Imaging Science through Hancock Health’s program. Out of the 22 credit hours, at least 15 hours must be completed at Ivy Tech. The remaining 7 credit hours may be transferred from another institution. All prerequisite courses must be completed with a minimum grade of “C-.”

Participants will be required to pass an exit exam with a minimum score of 675, before the degree will be awarded by Ivy Tech.

Prerequisite Course List

Only credits from an accredited college or university are accepted for program prerequisites.

2 年目の授業料は $3,500 で、次のいずれかの方法でお支払いいただけます。

• 6 月 30 日までに $3,500 を 1 回支払い
• 2 回の支払いのうち 1 回目は 6 月 1 日までに支払われる $2,000 と、2 回目の支払いは 12 月 1 日までに支払われる $1,500 です。

2 回に分けて支払う予定の場合は、いつ支払うかをプログラム ディレクターに通知する必要があります。

初年度の授業料が期日までに入金されない場合、プログラムへの入学は取り消されます。授業料が期日までに受け取られなかった場合、最大 30 日間の授業料の即時停止が行われます。授業料を受け取ったら、学生は学校に戻ることができます。 30 日以内に授業料を受け取らない場合、学生はプログラムから除名されます。

Student Activity and Technology Fee
To cover registry review materials and miscellaneous expenses such as field trips, a student activity fee of $200 is due by May 31. A technology fee of $70 is also due by May 31. Both fees are due prior to program entry, are non-refundable, and may be paid with one check or money order.

We do not participate in the federal financial aid program (FAFSA). However, many of our students are eligible to obtain financial help through WorkOne and enrolled students are eligible to apply for the Hancock Health Foundation scholarships. Additionally, several students have been able to obtain scholarships through their local community foundations.

At the time of graduation, the Program Director will verify that all graduation requirements and terminal objectives have been satisfied.

The graduate has completed:

• applicable rotation objectives as set forth by the program &/or ARRT clinical competency requirements*
• all clinical rotations as set forth by the program*
• all didactic requirements as mandated by the ARRT/ASRT
• the clinical portion of the program with a minimum cumulative average of 85%
• the didactic portion of the program with a minimum cumulative average of 80%
• the HESI with minimum score of 675 (if applicable)

The graduate has demonstrated competence in:

• application of body mechanics, patient transfer
• CPR
• sterile and medical aseptic technique
• nursing procedures: vital signs and use of medical equipment
• venipuncture/ placement of IV catheter
• care of patient medical equipment
• a minimum of 45 mandatory radiographic procedures as established by the program*
• a minimum of 15 elective radiographic procedures as established by the program*
• CT scanning of the head, thorax and abdomen

The School of Radiologic Technology requires that students complete more mandatory procedures than the ARRT requires, however, the program reserves the right to modify &/or supersede the school’s published policies and schedules in extreme circumstances, such as a national health emergency &/or implementation of the Contingency Plan. Regardless of circumstances, the ARRT Competency Requirements will always be met prior to student program completion.
