Providing abundant vitamins and minerals, fiber, and quite often healthy fats and heart-protecting folates, healthy salads are clearly the sweet spot of daily nutrition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And they\u2019re a classic summer treat: cool and quick to make, so you can get out of the kitchen and on with your outdoor fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s our summer salad playlist for 2018. Like hit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2012\/06\/20\/155132353\/the-mix-the-songs-of-the-summer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">songs of summer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that keep us coming back over and over again, these summery salads reward repeating. But don\u2019t limit yourself to our list. Make a salad playlist of your own and share it with your friends and family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Beet and Quinoa Salad<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When it comes to health benefits, the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.health.com\/nutrition\/beets-health-benefits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">beet goes on<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014and on. With B vitamins, iron, manganese, copper, magnesium, and potassium, not to mention blood pressure-lowering nitrates, beets are a bona fide <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/greatist.com\/health\/superfood-beets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">superfood<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
