I was so excited to say hi to all of the nurses working today. Juan and I handed out a thank you card to the nursing units to tell them how much we appreciate them.<\/p>\n<p>I even signed it myself. They seemed to love it!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7355 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"2000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1.png 1600w, https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1-240x300.png 240w, https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1-768x960.png 768w, https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1-819x1024.png 819w, https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1-1229x1536.png 1229w, https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Oliver-Nurses-Day-1-1-10x12.png 10w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/>The Marketing Department even wanted me in their &#8220;thank you&#8221; video that they are going to show at the Nurses Week\u00a0celebration! I must be pretty popular around here.<\/p>\n<p>We made our\u00a0usual rounds around the hospital and stopped by the Andis Unit. They wanted to take a photo with me for Nurses Week.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8996.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7347\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8994.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/>We then made our way to Hospice and met the nicest lady. She wanted to take a photo with me to send to her family! She was so happy to see me.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7345\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_8992.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/> I didn&#8217;t take the best photo with her because a beeping noise spooked me. I&#8217;m not sure what it was, but I didn&#8217;t like it one bit!!!!<\/p>\n<p>After the scare, I decided that I needed to take a quick break.<\/p>\n<p>I tried to power through it but I just couldn&#8217;t stop thinking about that NOISE. It was taunting me!<\/p>\n<p>Juan decided that we should probably cut our visit short since I wasn&#8217;t as social as I usually am, but we can never leave without saying hi to the volunteers&#8230; it&#8217;s our tradition!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9003.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" \/>Although it was a short visit, I still have a great time seeing all of my friends or <em><strong>soon<\/strong> <\/em>to be friends. I&#8217;m so glad that I&#8217;m able to help people feel better, even for just a second.<\/p>\n<p>Keep up with my adventures and see what I&#8217;m up to around the hospital! Hopefully, I&#8217;ll get to meet even more people next time that I visit.
