Mais il ne s'agit pas seulement de nous, il s'agit \u00e9galement de la communaut\u00e9. Nous le pensons quand nous disons que nous j'aime nos patients,<\/a> et nous aimons aussi les personnes qui nous aident \u00e0 prendre soin d'eux. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\u00catre b\u00e9n\u00e9vole pour Hancock Health aide \u00e0 combler le foss\u00e9 entre notre personnel et les membres de la communaut\u00e9. David Seevers est b\u00e9n\u00e9vole depuis mars 2005 et il aime l'impact qu'il a chaque jour. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\u00abJe voulais redonner\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Seevers. \u00ab Mon p\u00e8re, ma m\u00e8re et ma s\u0153ur avaient besoin de soins de sant\u00e9 et il y avait des gens l\u00e0-bas pour les aider. Je voulais aussi \u00eatre l\u00e0 pour les autres, pour rembourser l\u2019aide re\u00e7ue par ma famille.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Quant \u00e0 Marsha Ellett, une autre b\u00e9n\u00e9vole de longue date depuis pr\u00e8s de dix ans, elle souhaitait continuer \u00e0 servir sa communaut\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir pris sa retraite des soins infirmiers. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\u00abJe venais tout juste de prendre ma retraite apr\u00e8s avoir travaill\u00e9 vingt-neuf ans \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital Riley pour enfants et enseign\u00e9 les soins infirmiers pendant dix-sept ans\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ellett. \u00ab Je voulais continuer \u00e0 aider les gens. C'est ma partie pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e du travail. M\u00eame si vous devez avoir au moins quinze ans pour faire du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat avec nous, il existe de nombreuses autres fa\u00e7ons \u00e9tonnantes de redonner \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 pour les jeunes<\/a>, aussi.
