But could you do more to help keep your living space safe and coronavirus-free?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you can. It\u2019s important to sanitize frequently touched places\u2014we\u2019re talking about doorknobs, countertops, phones, and light switches\u2014on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s also crucial to know what to do if you or someone you live with becomes ill. Call our <strong>Coronavirus H<\/strong><strong>otline, 317-325-COVD (2683)<\/strong>, or email us at <a href=\"mailto:nurse@hancockregionalhospital.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>nurse@hancockregionalhospital.org<\/strong><\/a>. The hotline is open 24\/7. Clinical personnel from Hancock Health, who can schedule appointments, are monitoring both the hotline and the email address.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/prepare\/get-your-household-ready-for-COVID-19.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fcommunity%2Fhome%2Fget-your-household-ready-for-COVID-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tips<\/a> about what to do at home:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep in touch with family, friends, and neighbors, especially if you or one of them becomes ill. Texting, email, and social media are all good ways to stay connected. Craft a plan about what to do if coronavirus breaks out in your area.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure your household has a current list of emergency contacts\u2014and Hancock Health is on it.<\/li>\n<li>Take care of the emotional health of your household members, including children. Remaining calm and reassuring around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/childrenindisasters\/helping-children-cope.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">enfants<\/a> is especially important.<\/li>\n<li>Learn how to care for someone with COVID-19 at home.
