Cette maladie \u00e9tait autrefois un diagnostic d\u00e9vastateur, mais gr\u00e2ce aux connaissances innovantes d&#039;aujourd&#039;hui, les m\u00e9decins esp\u00e8rent emp\u00eacher davantage de femmes de succomber \u00e0 son emprise. De plus, 13 000 nouveaux cas sont diagnostiqu\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e dans notre pays. La principale cause de cette maladie est une infection par le virus du papillome humain (VPH), une maladie sexuellement transmissible courante. No one likes to head to the doctor to put their legs up in stirrups and feel that cold shock of invasive metal, but getting your Pap smear every three to five years can be a great way to prevent cervical cancer from going undiagnosed. Women should start getting tested for cervical cancer at the age of 21.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-heading core-heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">35-44<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p>Les femmes de cette tranche d\u2019\u00e2ge sont les plus susceptibles de recevoir un diagnostic de cancer du col de l\u2019ut\u00e9rus. Le principal facteur de risque, comme nous l\u2019avons indiqu\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, est l\u2019infection par le VPH. Beaucoup d\u2019entre nous contractent cette infection et notre corps la combat sans probl\u00e8me. Cependant, elle peut parfois se transformer en maladie chronique, entra\u00eenant alors la croissance de cellules canc\u00e9reuses dans le col de l\u2019ut\u00e9rus. Ce vaccin est le seul \u00e0 notre connaissance capable de pr\u00e9venir le cancer. Les gar\u00e7ons devraient \u00e9galement envisager de se faire vacciner, car ils seront alors moins susceptibles de transmettre cette infection \u00e0 d\u2019autres partenaires.
