Et pendant la semaine du 13 novembre, nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons toutes nos IP \u00e0 l'occasion de la Semaine nationale des infirmi\u00e8res praticiennes. <\/p>\n<\/div>

R\u00a0:\u00a0Eh bien, je suis FNP, ce qui signifie Family Nurse Practitioner. Je me sp\u00e9cialise en m\u00e9decine familiale, je vois donc des patients de tous \u00e2ges. Je travaille chez Hancock Health depuis un peu plus de quatre ans maintenant.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Q : Que fait une infirmi\u00e8re praticienne familiale ? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

\n\n<\/div>
\n

R : Pour peindre avec de larges coups de pinceau, une infirmi\u00e8re praticienne a diverses responsabilit\u00e9s, toutes ax\u00e9es sur la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre de chaque patient. Nous travaillons en \u00e9troite collaboration avec des m\u00e9decins et d'autres prestataires pour offrir les meilleurs soins possibles \u00e0 chacun de nos patients. Nous fournissons \u00e0 nos patients des soins holistiques et empreints de compassion, en mettant l\u2019accent sur la promotion de la sant\u00e9, la pr\u00e9vention primaire et l\u2019\u00e9ducation des patients. <\/p>\n<\/div>

R : Oh, certainement ! J'interagis avec les patients tout au long de ma journ\u00e9e de travail. L\u2019une des meilleures choses de mon travail est que je m\u2019occupe des individus tout au long de leur vie, des nourrissons \u00e0 la g\u00e9riatrie. Je m'occupe aussi souvent de familles enti\u00e8res, ce qui me permet de voir les petits grandir et de vraiment conna\u00eetre mes patients. C'est tr\u00e8s enrichissant. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Q\u00a0:\u00a0Quels sont les autres domaines gratifiants de votre travail\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

\n\n<\/div>
\n

R\u00a0: Je contribue chaque jour \u00e0 rendre la sant\u00e9 possible aux patients. Je m'efforce vraiment d'avoir un impact positif sur chaque patient, en lui donnant les moyens, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation et au coaching de sant\u00e9, de mettre en \u0153uvre des changements de mode de vie qui am\u00e9liorent leur sant\u00e9 physique. J'\u00e9prouve un grand sentiment de fiert\u00e9 lorsque les patients reviennent au cabinet apr\u00e8s une maladie ou un probl\u00e8me et expriment leur gratitude. C'est incroyable de reconna\u00eetre la diff\u00e9rence que nous faisons dans la vie des gens. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Q\u00a0: Si un patient est nerveux ou inquiet lors de sa visite, comment l\u2019aidez-vous\u00a0? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

R\u00a0: J\u2019essaie de les mettre \u00e0 l\u2019aise en faisant preuve d\u2019empathie et de compassion. Je n\u2019aime pas pr\u00e9cipiter les patients lors de leur visite au cabinet et je leur laisse suffisamment de temps pour poser des questions. En retour, j'y r\u00e9ponds au mieux de mes capacit\u00e9s. Une partie de mon travail consiste \u00e0 aider \u00e0 \u00e9duquer les patients en r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 leurs questions et en att\u00e9nuant leurs inqui\u00e9tudes. <\/p>\n<\/div>

R : Oui ! J'ai la chance de travailler dans un bureau compos\u00e9 de membres du personnel et de prestataires d\u00e9vou\u00e9s et travailleurs, tous attentionn\u00e9s et compatissants. Nous faisons vraiment de notre mieux pour chacun de nos patients. <\/p>\n<\/div>
