En 1993, elle a obtenu sa ma\u00eetrise de la School of Nursing de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 de l&#039;Indiana. Apr\u00e8s l&#039;universit\u00e9, Kim est retourn\u00e9e dans sa ville natale dans le comt\u00e9 rural de Rush, o\u00f9 elle et son mari John vivent.
