Puede que tengas raz\u00f3n, pero los ni\u00f1os necesitan una cantidad impresionante de ejercicio para mantenerse en forma y saludables. Sin embargo, con los ni\u00f1os no se trata necesariamente de enfatizar el control del peso o la salud del coraz\u00f3n, sino ayudarlos a desarrollar excelentes h\u00e1bitos que los llevar\u00e1n saludables a lo largo de la vida. La Academia Estadounidense de Pediatr\u00eda afirma que los ni\u00f1os de 6 a 17 a\u00f1os necesitan al menos una hora de ejercicio aer\u00f3bico de moderado a vigoroso al d\u00eda. Los a\u00f1os 20 ofrecen un pico de rendimiento atl\u00e9tico en muchos sentidos, por lo que este grupo de edad puede sentirse m\u00e1s fuerte y menos necesitado de comenzar un r\u00e9gimen de ejercicio. Sin embargo, es importante cuidar tu cuerpo en cada etapa para no desarrollar enfermedades a medida que envejeces. Las recomendaciones para este grupo de edad incluyen alcanzar una frecuencia card\u00edaca objetivo de 100 a 170 lpm e intentar realizar alg\u00fan tipo de ejercicio cardiovascular aproximadamente seis d\u00edas a la semana. Esto puede variar en duraci\u00f3n e intensidad desde 30 minutos vigorosos hasta 45 o incluso 60 minutos leves y moderados.
