You\u2019ve met the Grouchies. <\/p>\n<\/div>

They\u2019re annoying little creatures you often run into when you\u2019re seeking urgent care for yourself or someone you love. There\u2019s Squeezix, who\u2019ll pick your pocket with unexpected fees. Skwibble, who\u2019ll confuse you with unintelligible billing codes for procedures you didn\u2019t even know you had. Then there\u2019s Krazzle, the stress monster. He\u2019s fond of anything that brings anxiety in health care, from disinterested staff to overpriced MRIs, CT scans, and X-rays. And finally, there\u2019s Fritter, who shows up when you\u2019re wasting your time in a long line, waiting for the care you need.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Grouchies are all too common, and they\u2019re difficult to eradicate. But if you think you have to put up with them whenever you need health care, you don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<\/div>
