Here at Hancock Health our philosophy of wellness begins with recognizing that everyone has different needs. We are creating a holistic way of approaching healthcare, starting with the understanding that each of our patients is a unique individual.  <\/p>\n<\/div>

Our Nutrition Therapy program highlights this philosophy, taking into account the needs of each person, and also how they can better access holistic care. Through telehealth and in-person appointments with our knowledgeable, registered dietitians, all billed through insurance, we are making health possible in Hancock County and beyond. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Our patients have always had access to Registered Dietitians at each of our three Hancock Wellness Centers, whether through physician referral or on their own. As fad diets and weight loss drugs grow in popularity, guidance from licensed dietitians is more important than ever. They help patients set realistic goals, make informed choices, and build sustainable, healthy habits. For those using medications like GLP-1 for weight loss, nutritional therapy ensures weight loss happens safely and for the long term – supporting muscle health and vital organ function. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Emily Stoffel, a Registered Dietitian at the Hancock Wellness Center in New Palestine, enjoys helping patients with a wide variety of needs. \u201cWe walk alongside patients in any disease state and help them make forever changes.\u201d She goes on to remind patients that nutritional therapy isn\u2019t a quick fix, \u201cWe do what we can to help patients achieve their goals and maintain their progress in the long term.\u201d   <\/p>\n<\/div>
