R: Bueno, soy FNP, que significa Enfermera Practicante de Familia. Me especializo en medicina familiar, por lo que atiendo pacientes de todos los rangos de edad. Trabajo en Hancock Health desde hace poco m\u00e1s de cuatro a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<\/div>

R: Para pintar con pinceladas amplias, una enfermera practicante tiene una variedad de responsabilidades, todas enfocadas en la salud y el bienestar de cada paciente. Trabajamos en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con m\u00e9dicos y otros proveedores para brindar la mejor atenci\u00f3n posible a cada uno de nuestros pacientes. Brindamos atenci\u00f3n compasiva y hol\u00edstica a nuestros pacientes enfoc\u00e1ndonos en la promoci\u00f3n de la salud, la prevenci\u00f3n primaria y la educaci\u00f3n del paciente. <\/p>\n<\/div>

P: Vaya, entonces me imagino que interact\u00faas bastante con los pacientes. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

R: \u00a1Oh, definitivamente! Interact\u00fao con los pacientes durante toda mi jornada laboral. Una de las mejores cosas de mi trabajo es que cuido a personas durante toda su vida, desde beb\u00e9s hasta geri\u00e1tricos. A menudo tambi\u00e9n cuido a familias enteras, por lo que puedo ver crecer a los peque\u00f1os y conocer realmente a mis pacientes. Es muy gratificante. <\/p>\n<\/div>

P: \u00bfCu\u00e1les son algunas otras \u00e1reas gratificantes de su trabajo? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

R: Puedo hacer posible la salud de los pacientes todos los d\u00edas. Realmente me esfuerzo por impactar positivamente a cada paciente, capacit\u00e1ndolos a trav\u00e9s de educaci\u00f3n y asesoramiento en salud para implementar cambios en su estilo de vida que mejoren su salud f\u00edsica. Siento un gran sentimiento de orgullo cuando los pacientes regresan al consultorio despu\u00e9s de una enfermedad o problema y expresan su gratitud. Ha sido asombroso reconocer la diferencia que marcamos en la vida de las personas. <\/p>\n<\/div>

P: Si un paciente est\u00e1 nervioso o preocupado durante su visita, \u00bfc\u00f3mo lo ayuda? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

R: Intento tranquilizarlos mostr\u00e1ndoles empat\u00eda y compasi\u00f3n. No me gusta apresurar a los pacientes durante su visita al consultorio y les doy mucho tiempo para hacer preguntas. A cambio, les respondo lo mejor que puedo. Parte de mi trabajo es ayudar a educar a los pacientes respondiendo sus preguntas y aliviando sus inquietudes. <\/p>\n<\/div>

R: \u00a1S\u00ed! Me siento muy bendecida de trabajar en una oficina compuesta por miembros del personal y proveedores dedicados y trabajadores que son todos afectuosos y compasivos. Realmente hacemos lo mejor que podemos para todos y cada uno de nuestros pacientes. <\/p>\n<\/div>
