Amanda Goldstein asisti\u00f3 a la Universidad Vanderbilt en Nashville, Tennessee, donde obtuvo su t\u00edtulo universitario en Biolog\u00eda Molecular en 2001. Asisti\u00f3 a la escuela de medicina y se gradu\u00f3 en 2005 en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Indiana. Complet\u00f3 su residencia en medicina familiar en el Hospital St. Vincent en Indian\u00e1polis en 2009 y ejerci\u00f3 durante varios a\u00f1os en St. Vincent.
