Physician Bio
Nathan Bode, DO is a Family Medicine physician with Hancock Health. A Hancock County native, he grew up in Greenfield before attending Wabash College in Crawfordsville for his undergraduate degree, where he studied Political Science and Spanish. He attended the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis for medical school and then completed his residency training at IU Methodist. He completed specialized training in LGBTQ Health during residency, and his career interests include gender-affirming care, men’s health, nutrition and exercise, and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, and heart failure. He hopes to make a visit to the doctor’s office feel a little less intimidating through relationships built on trust, honesty, and encouragement.
