Hancock Health is proud to announce that Dr. J. David Mossler, Vice President of Physician Practice Management and Chief Medical Officer, has been named to this year\u2019s prestigious IBJ 40 Under 40 List. IBJ\u2019s 40 Under 40 includes change-makers, leaders and rising stars in the greater Indianapolis community who were nominated by an industry peer and are making positive contributions to the communities they serve, both personally and professionally.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Dr. Mossler told the IBJ, \u201cProviding care to someone is truly a privilege. I have always wanted to be able to participate in health care leadership to guide, as much as I can, how we treat each other.\u201d This sentiment is evident in his accomplishments, which include overseeing the introduction of new service lines at the hospital, including robotic-assisted surgery, dialysis, a substance-use disorder inpatient clinic, and an anesthesia group.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Additionally, since Dr. Mossler\u2019s appointment as CMO in 2023, Hancock County has continued to rise in its ranking as one of Indiana\u2019s healthiest counties. As a servant leader at Hancock Health, Dr. Mossler participates in hospital-sponsored events, including food drives, associate crisis funds and volunteering to conduct sports physicals for high schools in the county.<\/p>\n<\/div>
