This means that our specialized nursery with a dedicated 24\/7 team allows mothers and babies who need a higher level of care to be treated close to home and have a reduced likelihood of transfer.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What Does \u201cLevel II\u201d Mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Level II hospital is equipped to care for mothers with complex pregnancies and moderately ill infants and babies born as early as 32 weeks\u2019 gestation. Level II nurseries are designed for babies who may need specialized care and a network of specialists, but whose complications are expected to resolve quickly.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hancockhealth.org\/de\/2021\/11\/hancock-health-and-peyton-manning-childrens-hospital-announce-neonatal-care-partnership\/\">In partnership with Peyton Manning Children\u2019s Hospital (PMCH) at Ascension St. Vincent<\/a>,\u00a0Hancock Health has built a strong obstetric, neonatal, and specialist team that provides an advanced level of newborn care.
