Er erwarb seinen Master-Abschluss in Naturwissenschaften an der Indiana University und 2001 seinen Medizinabschluss an der Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Halter absolvierte sein p\u00e4diatrisches Praktikum und seine Facharztausbildung in New Hampshire am Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
